The cabinet is constructed with lovely mirror matched walnut veneers on a solid frame. The cabinet boasts a cloud shaped design with carved scroll sides. The cabinet opens to reveal its original three adjustable graduated glass shelves, below which is further storage space. The doors retain their original elegantly designed Art Deco metal handles with etched geometric pattern. The right hand door retains its original metal escutcheon, working lock and includes a working key. The cabinet stands on its original splayed plinth, featuring scroll shape carvings on the corners. The item boasts classic Art Deco styling throughout; this is visible in the elegant curved corners, stepped design and clean lines. This cabinet boasts a golden brown walnut colour. It has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received. The cabinet would look superb in a variety of rooms, specifically the dining or living room. It would certainly grace any home, in either a traditional or contemporary setting; it is a great investment as its an extremely functional piece.
