See the extra pics below my text. Item Here is a popular Vintage Industrial Item. This came from a local High School's Nursing station. Sometimes they are called Sterilizer or Apothecary cabinets or Vitrine Display Cases.
It has 2 glass shelves inside and a rounded shape. The handles appear to be a black bakelite, catalin, or plastic? It can be used as a wall hanging cabinet or set on a suitable base cabinet. Its unmarked by the maker, so I can't say who really made it.
Other makers of these medical cabinets were Madri Brothers Inc Steelux Max Wocher & Son Co Valtronic Corp Pelton Sterilizer Pelton & Crane Company Detroit Michigan Atlas Hospital Equipment Co. Windsor, Pennsylvania Mayflower Surgical Supply Company Brooklyn NY Holland Brabantia made in Holland A.
Hospital and Physician's Equipment and Supplies, Little Rock Ar. Dimensions in inches 26.3 wide x 18.5 tall x 7.2 deep shelves 12.4 x 6 each door 10 wide x 14.8 tall weight 32 pounds Condition Good shape, but it was brush painted over its original paint. The paint has brush strokes showing, and you may want to refinish it, to get a smooth coat. Its not dented, and the doors work nice, there is no key for the lock.
There is some slight rust at the bottom edge, like this was sitting on a cabinet top. The rust is not severe, or seen any where else, but the bottom edge.
There are tiny chips on both glass shelves, but not worth getting new ones made. Terms Please wait for me to personally invoice you with the final details!
