Vintage Cherry Chippendale Scroll Fretwork 3 Tier Wall Telephone Writing Shelf

  

This is an original vintage (early-mid 20th century) three tier wood wall mount telephone shelf featuring routed shelf edges, rich cherry veneer, scroll cut fretwork sides, and leather writing surface on the top with gold embossed edges. The entire piece is sturdy, solid, and fully functional, and there is only one chip in the veneer at the bottom corner (shown in the last photo). There is otherwise only very minor, light surface wear and no cracks, repairs, or other major damage. The back panel has two screw holes for wall mounting.

This shelf could also be turned upside down and set on the top of a desk and used as an office organizer or document file. Outer dimensions are 14" W x 10" D x 15 1/4 H. The bottom shelf 6 5/8" of space above it and the middle shelf has 3 1/4" of space above it.
