Spectacular original finish Mission, quarter-sawn tiger oak, Yawman & Erbe heavily paneled, stacking file cabinet with a date of 1914 stamped on the frame. Some of the map drawers have Y & E stamped on the drawer pulls. The front of the cap piece has a metal tag with Yawman & Erbe stamped on it. There are 5 pieces in all. We start with the square legged base followed by two side-by-side legal file cabinets with the original slides within.
Next up are two sets of 4 map, or blueprint drawers which are wide open storage within. These drawers all have locks but no key.
On the top is the offset cap with a metal tag with Yawman & Erbe stamped on it. They only allow us 12 pictures. If you need to see more please contact me. I have extra pictures of the inside of all the drawers.
Yawman & Erbe, along with Shaw Walker, Globe, Macey, Globe Wernicke and Weis were all the main office furniture producers in the early 1900's. This piece is 52 13/16" tall, 33 "wide and 25 deep. The eight map drawers are each 2 1/4" tall, 30 5/8" wide and 23 1/2 from front to back. I think this is very fairly priced. This cabinet is available for pick-up.You would have to pay them separately. I'm guessing the weight to be 200 pounds. You would give them the physical dimensions. Please check out my other items.
