The bookcase retains its original wavy glass on the lower panels with a nice rippling effect present. The upper portion has muntined leaded glass with beautiful green slag glass panels. The bookcase is over 100 years old and most that we encounter have a couple of cracked panels, replaced glass, or a bow in the leader glass caused by extended periods in extreme heat or sunlight. We're proud to say that every single pane on this cabinet is intact, original, and free of damage. The cabinet also has a key, and the lock actuates with ease.
The interior has 4 shelves with a multitude of different height adjustments to accommodate a library of any size. It's been about a year since we last had one of these and we're certain this will find a new home quickly. If you've been in the market for a superior Oak bookcase, we would strongly recommend this one to even our most scrupulous clients. The bookcase is in extremely good condition with our only notes being very minimal surface wear. The bookcase measures 42" wide x 14 1/2" deep (13 1/2" at top) x 57 1/2" tall. The interior has useable dimensions of 38 1/2" wide x 11" deep. We are a wholly owned family business in our third decade of continuous operation.
