Antique English Pair of Art Deco Burr Walnut Bedside Chests Tables Nightstands (Circa 1930). Here is a fine quality pair of antique English Art Deco burr walnut bedside bow front chests, circa 1930, in excellent condition.

Boasting an angled bow fronted design, the bedsides are constructed with stunning mirror matched burr walnut veneers on a solid frame. The tables have been French polished by hand to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore they are in excellent condition. The bedsides comprise three bow fronted working drawers, which retain the original concave wooden knobs. The drawers are mahogany lined, feature dovetail construction and quarter beading.

The bedsides stand on their original recessed cushion plinths. These bedsides boast classic Art Deco styling throughout; this is visible in the rounded corners and clean lines.

These bedsides boast a rich walnut colour. They have a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning they have received. These bedside chests would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room to the bedroom. They would certainly grace any home, in either a traditional or contemporary setting; they are a great investment as they are extremely functional. Height = 64.5cm or 25 or 2ft 1 Width = 29.4cm or 11½ Depth = 53.2cm or 21 or 1ft 9. These bedside chests are in excellent condition, which is commensurate with their age. They are pedestals from an Art Deco dressing table, which have been adapted into bedside chests some time ago. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and sides, but nothing significant considering the age of them.

The bedsides feature lovely mirror matched burr walnut veneers, boasting a rich walnut colour, which are all in excellent condition. The drawers feature dovetail joints and quarter beaded construction, close flush to the frame and retain the original handles.
