For sale is a outstanding antique quarter sawn oak back bar with a marble top and leaded glass panels on the side columns. It measures 8' wide, 9' tall and 16 deep. The back bar is very original and complete.
The back bar has its original: unbroken marble top, hardware, leaded glass panels, beveled mirror, glass door panels. The bar has been professionally refinished and is clean sturdy and ready to use. The 3 antique Holophane glass shades have ribs that have a way of dispersing the light that is pretty and adds to the bar's appearance. All of the fixtures have been professionally wired with a ground wire. The two leaded glass side panels are beautiful when the lights behind them are turned on, they have been rewired with t8 light fixtures inside the columns.
Inside the lower section of the back bar there is mutiplug outlet with individual on/off switches. The side panels are turned on/off by one switch and the three center lights above the mirror are turned on/off by another switch. The back bar was photographed outside so I could take a picture showing the entire back bar. In the area where I live, we can get sudden gust of wind, for that reason we left the mirror out when setting it up outside (the back bar comes apart into two sections, the top section with the mirror and bottom cabinet). The last two pictures are of the original beveled mirror. The mirror does have fading and streaks as old mirrors will have. In the center of the mirror is a paper Coca-Cola sign, "Please Pay When Served", c. 1927 about 11 in diameter. The back bar dates from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. This is a beautiful back bar. The price is more than reasonable. In its category of back bar I do not believe you will ever find a better one for less. Please do not contact me with lower offers. I would be glad to meet the shipper and help load the back bar.
