It is not a mistake or a scam. An out of town relative and I are both listing it on our accounts to help sell it for my parents. It's physical location is by me. This absolutely stunning Art Deco style Front & Back Bar is from the 1930's. It's been in a "Cheers" type bar in the Detroit area and has been enjoyed by many over the decades of it's lifetime.
Bar (and the building it is in) has been used in two movies - "Hoffa" with Jack Nickolson and more recently "Vanishing on 7th Street". The Mahogany wood for the back bar was imported from Europe as it was not available in the US at that time.
It has the original glass mirrors with gold leaf design. The top of the back bar (the hutch portion) is 4' high and bottom base is 3' 6 high. Coolers in the base of the back bar have been relined with stainless steel. Back bar is to be taken apart in sections (starting from the top).Total length of the back bar is 22'. Total length of service bar is 23' 9. The top has been carved out of one piece of Walnut. There are lights behind the blue vertical and center horizontal glass pieces, as well as underneath the canopy (to shine down on the counter).
