Antique French Hunt Cabinet Circa 1900 Classical Revival With Beveled Mirror Top

  

This is a fantastic classical revival hunt cabinet imported from France. The piece is circa 1900.

The upper section has a beveled mirror cabinet door with a single shelf inside. The lower section has dovetailed drawers and two cabinet doors with a sway laurel appliques. There is another shelf inside the lower section. Both the upper and lower cabinets can be locked and unlocked with a single working key. The cabinet is in good condition with minor age appropriate finish loss and some wood separation on the surface.

It looks like at one time it had shelves on each side of upper cabinet door. There are two holes on each side where that shelf was probably attached and later removed. Please see all the photos for details. This hunting cabinet is 47" wide, 91" tall and 20.75 deep. It is in two sections with the upper section sitting very stable on the base.
