This exquisite antique medicine cabinet is a must-have for collectors of vintage furniture. Crafted by hand from high-quality wood, this apothecary cabinet features beautiful lines and a brass pull knob. The original door catch remains in tact but a modern magnetic catch has been added. Note that one of the corners of the wood near the door has been repaired. The wood was split in 2 places and was glued back into place. This appears to be an older repair. While the new hanging hardware is mounted on the side with the shelf, I'm not convinced that the hardware is attached to the right place.

Old holes are near the existing hanging hardware, so the cabinet may have been hung this way for a long time. However, the location of the back panel gap makes me think that the door was intended to be on top and the shelves underneath - note how the gap can be seen from the front of the piece, but if hung shelves down, the gap is barely visible. The cabinet has a classic inset panel door style, with one shelf for storage, and measures 17 inches in height, 12.5 inches in length and 7.5 inches in width. This original piece is a unit type cabinet, with a knob handle crafted from brass. Mounting is easy with this unit, and it is perfect for anyone looking to add a unique and eye-catching piece to their collection.
