Antique Pine Chimney Cabinet, One Door, One Drawer, c. 1890, with Crown Molding

  

"Pine one door/drawer standing cupboard on bracket base and crown molding, door has flat panel, circa 1890". D, appraisal, July 2, 2004. This is a beautifully crafted chimney cabinet. It was beautifully made and over the years has continued to be a reliable storage space wherever we needed it or wherever we placed it, in homes in California, Connecticut, Minnesota and back to California. Height: 78 (top of crown molding).

The cabinet has three movable shelves. A single metal cabinet latch keeps the door reliably closed.

The crown molding is removable if needed. The drawer measures (interior) 24" wide x 11" deep. We had this cabinet appraised in 2004, and the appraiser assigned a value of.
