Antique Primitive Pine Cupboard Cabinet 19th C Original Farmhouse Pantry

Offered is an authentic 19th-century primitive pine cupboard with outstanding original character and a size that makes it exceptionally versatile. Measuring 33½" wide x 42½" high x only 9 deep, it is large enough to serve as a freestanding accent cabinet while remaining shallow enough to be hung on a wall if desired.

Constructed of solid pine, this handcrafted cupboard features a raised two-panel door, a beautiful untouched patina, and two original iron lock escutcheons with matching interior locking hardware, along with its original turned wooden knob. The cabinet retains the honest wear and craftsmanship collectors look for in genuine early American furniture. Inside are three fixed shelves, making it ideal for storing or displaying stoneware, pantry goods, books, linens, primitive collectibles, or country décor. The shallow depth allows it to fit comfortably in kitchens, dining rooms, entryways, bathrooms, or any room where space is limited.

Pieces of this quality and size are becoming increasingly difficult to find. It is equally at home in a primitive collection or as a functional statement piece in a modern farmhouse.

Two original lock escutcheons with interior locking hardware. Good, solid antique condition with the expected wear from well over a century of use. The cabinet has scratches, finish wear, stains, shrinkage, and other age-related imperfections that add to its authentic character.

The right side panel has a section of cosmetic damage, shown clearly in the photos, but the cabinet remains sturdy and displays beautifully. No keys are included, so the locks have not been tested. Please examine all photos carefully, as they are part of the description. This cupboard has the proportions that many buyers look for-large enough to stand alone as an attractive storage cabinet, yet compact enough to fit in today's homes or be wall-mounted.

Combined with its original hardware, untouched surface, and authentic primitive construction, it makes for an increasingly hard-to-find piece. Thank you for taking a look.
