This wonderful antique Victorian/Empire oak china cabinet is in excellent condition and is as sturdy as it is lovely and usable not just for looksthis cabinet holds a lot of stemware and dishes! The china cabinet features a gently curved bow glass front, left and right glass side lights/panes and 5 wooden, adjustable shelves that are 13.5 inches deep at widest point (center of shelf) and 12 inches deep on left and right sides (each shelf has 2 grooves running along the back to display dishes / platters). The door, which swings open to the right, has the original brass keyed handle in place (no key comes with sale). The left and right front feet are Empire (curved), while the back left and right feet are standard feet.
Note: In the first photo, the glass on the china cabinet's front is showing a reflection of stemware on the table when I took the photo, but the glass is damage free. The oak china cabinet measurements are as follows. The china cabinet is heavy, in excellent antique condition and can store lots of stemware, dishes and collectibles, etc. On upper four shelves and heavy, larger platters on base fifth shelf. Note: There is a small separation of the glass in the left sidelight; it is situated in the frame, as it should be, but there is some separation.
The left front foot has a missing piece of veneer and the upper right back corner has a small missing piece of veneer (see last three photos). Other than these 3 notes of wear / aging, the piece is in wonderful antique condition and is fully functional. The sale is final, non-returnable and non-refundable.
