Depression Era Solid Mahogany Bubble Glass Breakfront
This antique circa 1930 solid mahogany breakfront features four bubble glass doors with Federal style fretwork on the top hutch, which opens to a finished interior and six removable shelves. Beneath the classic dentil cornice molded top cabinet, the lower chest of drawers features four breakfront center drawers, which are flanked on either side by a smaller drawer over a one-door cabinet; the top center drawer folds out into a butler's secretary with a gilt red leather top desk as well as dividers, and a drawer. The original patinated brass hardware, dovetail and tenon joinery, skillfully applied moldings, and gorgeous flamed mahogany finish throughout make this beautiful cabinet a real find.
