Antique Child's Toy China Cabinet 22x 12x6.25 With Drawers & Glass Doors

  
This item is an antique oak miniature china cabinet, commonly referred to by collectors as a "salesman's sample" or a child's toy doll armoire. The cabinet is 22.5" tall x 11.75" wide x 6.25 deep. These miniature furniture pieces were built around the late 19th century to early 20th century (circa 1900). Originally created either as a scaled-down salesman sample used by traveling merchants to display full-sized options, or as high-quality toy furniture designed for large porcelain dolls.

Design Features: Features a stylized, wavy gingerbread crest at the top, twin glass panel insert doors, inner wooden display shelves, and two functional pull drawers at the base with small wooden knobs. Materials: Crafted from possibly oak wood utilizing antique surface hinges and drop-latches. Condition- overall for the age this cabinet is still beautiful and was very, very well taken care of.

There's only one shelf in the cabinet, but it can be moved to two other positions.. The left side door (if looking at the front of cabinet) is loose, the original nails were replaced with nails that aren't thick enough for original nail holes (an easy fix with thicker nails). Also the original latch is missing its clasp portion to keep doors closed tightly as seen in pic.
