Incredible hard to find 36 drawer oak index cabinet. This cabinet has so many neat qualities the first being it's size - measuring approximately 29" tall, 37.5" wide and 12 deep - great for persons not looking to overpower a room or decor but large enough to be useful storage and a statement piece. There are 36 drawers - all solid though a few have minor damage - may have split bottom, interior separators may be split, minor dings, nicks, etc. All but one has a numbered button on the front (they are not all sequential but vary from 368 to 486). All have the brass handles but some may be missing one or two finishing nails that hold them on.

I would estimate about half the drawers have no dividers and the other half have varying divisions - a few have old writing/labels on them. The framework for these drawers does not have solid wood sides, back or bottom but it the framework is also oak and stands firmly as is. The top has a solid oak board across the front and divided compartments on the top. The finish on this piece has aged beautifully giving you a varied aged patina on the fronts especially. I only did a quick wipe down for dust because my personal taste would leave this exactly as found, but it could easily be spruced and polished to suit your taste.
