This corner cabinet as with all our work in the BlackIslandMaine store is new. Please note the figure and quality of our tiger maple acquired from the forest and here in Maine. All our work it is completed with French Polish Lac, which is imported from the foothills of the Himalayas.

Then topped off with shop made aged beeswax. If you have never seen French polish accomplished I would suggest that you go to YouTube to view the same process which is used in restoring fine antiques in museums.

All secondary wood is clear White New England pine dressed with a scrub plane. Then finished with two coats of shop made oyster white milk paint. Then rub down with wood ash from the wood stove.
