1920s Mutschler Bros Porc-Enamel Hoosier Style Tambour Kitchen Cabinet

  
This lovely piece was manufactured in the 1920s by the Mutschler bros, in conjunction with the Hoosier company, in Indiana. Part of their PorcEnamel Kitchen furniture line, it is two separate pieces: a cupboard and built-in flour sifter and storage with tambour door on top and a pie safe cabinet with drawers and a cupboard on the bottom.

The cabinet below features the line's namesake porcelain enamel top with raised Art Deco designs on the trim in black. The entire piece has been painted white, including the sifter, and features black-painted wooden hardware. The top measures 40" high, 40" wide, 13" deep, while the bottom measures 31" high, 40" 25" deep. In total, the piece weighs 75 - 100 lbs.

This cabinet is in very good condition for its age but does show some signs of wear from age and use. There are noticeable signs of paint wear and discoloration on both the top and bottom portions, as well as light scratches to the enamel top. Please consult all images and message with any questions.
