Century Petite Antique English Corner Cabinet Carved Oak British Bookcase. From our most recent English container, and one of our favorite pieces! So much carving and a rare petite size that can tuck in the corner of a powder room, stairwell, or just about anywhere you want a touch of Old-World Charm and some extra storage and display! Carved "swan's neck" pediment over the top, with carved dentil moulding below.

Wide bands of carved details frame the upper cabinet door; the door itself features a recessed, fully carved panel of floral and geometric designs. Corner base features coordinated carvings across the apron and the large scalloped lower panels below; carvings continue completely down each leg and across the lower apron. Well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1890.

X 27.5" across front x 19" front corner to center back. Top cabinet only, 29 ht. X 20.5" x 14.5" front edge to center back.

Lower cabinet only, 31 ht. X 27.25" x 19". All of our antiques are direct from Europe.
