This handsome dresser base has a wonderful color and a bold form which gives it considerable presence. Beneath a step-down edge to the top is a single, long, beautifully hand-cut dovetailed drawer, faced with heavy moldings to create two recessed panels.

The original wooden knobs are most unusual, as is the round floral pressed zinc escutcheon plate. The doors have deeply recessed panels and are flanked and separated by applied fluting and carved corbels. This is an outstanding piece and is attractive and useful for storing anything in any decor.
