Antique 6 drawer file cabinet by Library Bureau SoleMakers. Very rare, early model, as each drawer is stamped with an "1892" patent date and all the rod plate hardware is also stamped with a date. Not seen on later models.

It is solid quarter sawn oak with amazing striping or "rays" and "flecks", and dovetailing. It measures 12.75"L x 14"W x 12.5H. The drawers will hold anything that is 3x5.

Original brass hardware, but it is missing the rods and drawer dividers. Several drawers have broken back (as seen in the pictures), but it does not affect the structural integrity of the drawer, they are very solid.

Other wear and tear consist of scratches and color blotches, typical with vintage pieces. Nice and heavy for the file cabinet collector, especially a Library Bureau collector.
