Antique 1920's Solid Oak Hoosier Cabinet by Red Wing Cabinet Co
This Antique Hoosier Cabinet was produced by the Red Wing Cabinet Co. In Minnesota in the 1920s when Hoosier style kitchen cabinets became popular. This solid oak Hoosier style cabinet features. A large metal storage compartment for bread in the bottom right corner, which is located below two smaller storage drawers (one of which contains a divider). A spacious storage area in the bottom left corner, which has a door rack on the interior of the latching door and a sliding shelf. The original flour sifter in the upper left corner; the glass panel is missing, but the door still latches. A centered medium sized drawer, which rests below a latching cabinet with shelves and two smaller drawers. Two shelves in the far right upper corner, which can be found behind the modern addition of the frosted, lattice patterned glass. A recently added pull-out and removable cutting board. This piece is in great condition for its age, and the oak looks fantastic. This Hoosier style cabinet stands 69 3/4" high, measures 43" wide and 27 deep.
