DEPARTMENT STORE, HABERDASHERY OR MERCANTILE DISPLAY CABINET. 66 L X 28.5 H X 17.5 D. Wonderful piece from an old department store or mercantile, all original with ingenious working glass front doors that pull up and then retract into a pocket space above the drawers. Drawers pull out for easy viewing of contents, and nothing sticks, everything moves smoothly. Perfect for a closet or free standing piece in walk in dressing room to hold sweaters, ties, lingerie, anything, or for a work space or craft space.

Could be stacked as these often were on top of another cabinet. This is unfinished on top and sides as most likely it was originally part of a set of displays. Super easy to finish with 1/8 paint or stain grade wood or veneer if you wanted a nice free standing piece. Front facia of cabinet is walnut with all original brass insert pulls. Would even be cool as wine storage! Lots of wonderful items in the coming weeks so keep checking back. I have a list of shippers (whom I've used before with great success) who can transport this to most places in the country for a very reasonable cost, or we can solicit quotes from Uship. At least 50 to 90 years old and has signs of wear commensurate with age general scuffs and scratches, none of which detract but which only add to the general desired patina of an antique. Unfinished on sides and top.
