49" Long 16" Deep 59 High. Cabinet that was loosely inspired by late 18thC French designs, including. Bois de satine, a much favoured timber amongst French furniture makers from the 18th century onwards. Mottled purple marble top above a pair of chevron-veneered flush doors inlaid its geometric crossbanding within curved front corners enclosing 2 drawers and shelves. Condition 2 small inlaid pieces to left door briefly interrupt what is mostly an intact inlaid veneered finish, cabinet is in. Good condition commensurate with its late 19thC age; also some rubs near bottom edge. Location, just north of Mulholland; due to the size and weight of the item, hiring professional services is strongly recommended.
