1920's German Light Bulb Voltage Tester converted to Industrial Bar Cabinet by design company Restoration Hardware. Dating to the 1920s, a former light bulb-testing machine has been ingeniously repurposed as a bar cart to shelter spirits, wine bottles and hanging glassware.
The original, a century old, was salvaged from a factory in Germany. Crafted of iron, a hinged segment opens to grant access to bottles and barware, while the small hatch opens, too.Includes 3 glass covered shelves, wine bottle rack and glass hanging rack. This very limited edition bar is no longer available from Restoration Hardware, and therefor a rare, highly collectible, super stylish, vintage industrial sculptural piece.
It also looks like a Jules Verne Steampunk design fantasy or a converted WWII Naval Sea Mine. Has some light wear from usage but is built like a tank!
Please note this item is large and requires a large room, open loft space, shop or bar to accommodate the scale. But if you have the space it is a spectacular feature. The legs unscrew, and it has to be opened to clear a door space.
