American Radio Bar with Original Glassware RadioBar Co. ART DECO 1930's

  

1930's RADIO BAR AND. Total of 45 pieces of glassware. 39 pieces of ALL ORIGINAL GLASSWARE plus. Set of 6 cordial/liqueur long stem glasses from a different RADIOBAR.

1 add-on wood "BAR" piece, which is not original to the RADIO BAR. OF AMERICA, LOS ANGELES USA. Masterpiece of Prohibition / Art Deco Era one of these beauties is seen in many Hollywood gangster movies!

Original glassware glasses & bitters bottle in excellent condition with platinum/silver rings in tact; some platinum wear on 2 of the liquor bottles all bottles have original aluminum caps. The 6 pieces (out of the 45) are long-stem glassware (cordial/liqeurer glasses) and are from an older RADIO BAR.. 4 of 6 do have some missing platinum/silver. 2 LIGHTS in cabinet have been RE-WIRED. Cabinet in very good -excellent condition for age.

Inside racks and serving spaces are of heavy chromium plate MUCH shinier than pics are showing! Notable defects on original wood cabinet: black on very bottom/base, right corner in photos, has scratches couple of minor scratches on black on bottom left corner; light scratching to finish just above bottom left corner; minor finish. Wear on 2 INSIDE front corners of lid from lifting lid with hands. Some very minor scratches to FINISH. Cabinet has space underneath for liquor bottles - door has a lock but key is missing.

1 small hole in radio'grate' (in center down near bottom). 2 lights on the bar are working LOOKS GREAT WHEN LIT! Wiring to lights has been updated. Radio will likely need to be restored.. The wiring is all original and needs to be replaced.

Of original glassware are in near perfect condition especially for age.. Most do not look like they were ever used.

Every piece fits perfectly into the racks so when bar is closed everything is contained. Again, the 6 cordial glasses are from a different RADIOBAR and do have some missing silver and DO NOT have their own spaces inside the racks. Total value of glassware approx. All items will need a light cleaning. Imagine in the glamourous man cave of a businessman!
