Antique English Pair of Art Deco Figured Walnut Bedside Chests / Tables (Circa 1930). Here is a good quality pair of antique English Art Deco figured walnut bedside chests, circa 1930, in good condition. The bedsides are constructed with stunning matched figured walnut veneers on a solid frame, including figured walnut veneer tops, which include an up-stand to prevent items from rolling off to the rear. The bedsides comprise three drawers, constructed with dovetail joints and featuring the original grey marble effect Bakelite handles. The drawers also run smoothly and close flush to the flame.

The bedsides are raised on recessed stepped plinths. These bedsides boast classic Art Deco styling throughout; this is visible in the straight edges and clean lines. They are well-constructed, solid in joint and ready to use. These bedsides boast a mellow walnut colour.

They have a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning they have received. This pair of Art Deco bedside tables would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room to the bedroom.

The drawers close flush to the frame and incorporate the original handles, which are in good condition.
