Each drawer has a label along with two brass knobs on each drawer. The large labels in the center of the drawers each read something different. Reading from top to bottom they are: Clark's, O.
Fast Black, White, George A. Each label has black lettering against a metallic gold background.
All of the drawers easily open and close. Interior of each drawer is fully open with no dividing compartments and is lined with green felt. The front, side edges of the cabinet have a X and stripe design carved into them.
Spool cabinets such as this were used in general stores to store spools of thread. They would normally be found in the dry goods section of the store. The cabinet is guaranteed to be old. Would make a great addition to any antique furniture, general store or sewing memorabilia collection! There is some wear to the finish on the top as well as on the right side. Two splits are in the top of the cabinet and three knobs are loose. Typical wear from age and use. Overall in GOOD-VERY GOOD condition.
