Antique Printers Type Tray CABINET double row 40 drawers with Hamilton Handles

  

For sale is a wooden antique Cabinet with a total of 40 masonite back drawers (14 are California type trays and 26 drawers are blanks with a few movable long dividers in each drawer). Each drawer has a long metal Hamilton Handle that has a slide in slot that can be used to place an identifying label to reveal what is inside that drawer. The total size of each drawer is 32"x 16 1/2". The total size of the double row Cabinet is 71" long x 44" tall x 24 deep.

There is some paint and chipped wood on the cabinet but it is in sturdy strong shape. This cabinet was used back in the day mainly for printers to store and organize their metal and wood type letters and numbers for printing projects. There are so many possibilities of use now to decorate homes and offices with a beautiful piece of practical printing history.
