This is a fabulous original antique (late 19th century) spice cabinet with 10 drawers, each trimmed with a wood border and and original porcelain knob (two for each of the longer drawers). Trim around the bottom is pressed with a floral pattern and there is a very delicate fishbone pattern of inlaid wood framing the two larger drawers and accenting the top corner finials. A variety of woods was used and the entire piece was carefully handmade. It was refinished at some point and there is very little surface wear anywhere.
There are a couple cracks in the scroll-cut crest across the top front, but nothing is loose or missing anywhere. The entire piece is sturdy, solid, and fully functional. All drawers are clean and fit properly. The cabinet measures 16 1/4" W x 7" D x 27 3/8 H. This item is in the category "Antiques\Furniture\Cabinets & Cupboards".
