This is an antique 25 drawer quarter-sawn tiger-oak Library Card Catalog / office filing cabinet. This beautiful cabinet has been restored to its former glory - the beautiful, richly figured oak gleams with a hand-rubbed oil finish.

When we found this amazing piece it needed some TLC so we carefully disassembled and cleaned it, repaired its broken parts, and gave it a deep durable surface. It is finished on both sides with killer book-end quarter-sawn panels and has 25 drawers that measure 2 1/2" x 5". The drawer joints are dove-tailed and all drawers open and close and sport beautiful brass pulls and tag holders.

The bottom is accessed through doors that swing on brass hinges and feature a vintage brass handle. It measures 33" high by 28" deep, by about 30 wide. The top section lifts off so the unit could easily be fitted with a nice granite slab or other counter top to make wonderful kitchen island. All in all, a superb, unusual Oak Cabinet that is useful and a great addition to your decor.
