Antique AMAZING Oak Stackable Multi Drawer Filing Cabinet WOW VERY UNIQUE

  

For sale is a very awesome stacking filing cabinet. What an amazing piece that came out of the University of Minnesota's agriculture building.

As you can see inside the swinging glass doors it was converted to hold seed packets which is why there are all the cubby holes and drawers. This was added at one time to fit the office needs, I considered taking this part out and adding shelves like it would have once had but liked the uniqueness of this piece and left it how I found it. This is very sturdy and very heavy.

It had the top crown, the index file, 2 drawer cabinet, 3 layers of files and a base. It is unique being stackable as you can choose which sections you want to use or dont want to use. The swinging doors do need some adjusting as the latch does not catch quite right. As you can see there is a chip from years ago on the middle front left side edge as I pictured in picture #6. Also there was a sliver of wood that slivered off after refinishing on the front and someone could stain that to match or else it is very hard to notice but I tried to picture it on picture #12.

On the left side it does appear someone did some light glue and repair work years ago which I also showed in picture #8. Otherwise this is a fantastic piece that displays awesome. I have received tons of compliments on this great piece. This is such a gorgeous and unique file piece that deserves a great home or office to be enjoyed.
