Deco Mid Century Dental Medical 8 Drawer American Cabinet Co. Bar or Kitchen

  
Vintage wood dental cabinet, perfect for the bar or kitchen in Mid Century Modern or Art Deco style. This cabinet was made by the American Cabinet Company of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, and probably dates to the 1960s. It was last used as a dental cabinet in 1985, because that was the date on the sterilized dental instruments I found inside. The cabinet is 45" tall x 27" wide x 17 deep. The cabinet has 8 drawers and a pop up compartment for small glasses or utensils on the countertop. The pop-up compartment originally held small rinse glasses, but is also the perfect size for shot glasses. It pops open by pressing a button on the counter top. The drawers vary in size from 20.5" wide x 8" deep x 2" tall for the smallest drawer, to 20.5" wide x 11" deep x 7" tall for the largest drawer. This is vintage item that was used as a working dental cabinet, so it does have some wear. The cabinet is very heavy, but is mounted on wheels and can be easily moved on a smooth floor.
