Vintage Hoosier Style Cabinet

  

Working flour sifter, pie shelf and metal bread drawer. Appears to be original hardware. There is a "Seal of Good Housekeeping" stamped on the back side of the cabinet.

I left the old decorative shelf paper on the shelves just as I found it. There is an original cardboard oven clock instruction tacked to the upper left door. All doors function well and that includes the large front roll door. The cabinet is two piece just like many Hoosier style cabinets of that period, allowing for relatively easy transport. The porcelain counter top does slide in when not in use, just like other cabinets of this period.

I cannot tell if it was painted one time, and if it was, a very light chalk paint was used. The porcelain is in good condition for the age and is an off white in color, closely matching the cabinet. The cabinet really is in remarkable condition and it is very difficult to find one this nice.
