A Very Fine Walnut Corner Cupboard from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Provenance : From the Duffield family. Benjamin Duffield 1661 - 1741 came over from England with William Penn. This cupboard remained with the original family until late twentieth century when it was acquired directly by the present owner. The family tree, showing the Duffield Family is included in the sale. Flat Cove Molded Cornice Over Single Lattice Cabinet Door, Enclosing 4 Shelves, Over Single Paneled Door Flanked by Flat Reeded Column Sides, Straight Bracket Feet. Wear, minor losses, and old restorations commensurate with use and age. Glass is old and appears to be original.
