The top cabinet has 13 drawers with a central interior cabinet that has two additional drawers. The base has one wide drawer at top and a two door storage area as shown. The base also has lion's paw feet at front. There is a small are of trim that is lost as shown on the top middle section and can easily be replaced as the style is not uncommon and/or could be reproduced pretty simply. There are terrific carvings all around and detailed dental/dart & egg molding sections.
The unit is sturdy, sound and usable yet with purposefully primitive qualities that evoke a Renaissance era age and patina. This cabinet is direct from the General Mills Corporation founder James Ford Bell's estate in Minneapolis with one family ownership to date. For more great items like this!
