American McDougall Hoosier Cabinet Hutch Excellent Cond Blue Slag Glass 1919
American McDougall Hoosier Cabinet Hutch Excellent Condition, Blue Slag Glass, 1919. At a relatively high price, because I believe it is the nicest existing Hoosier I've ever seen, and it is now 101 years old. What makes it stand out from all the rest, in particular, is its fantastic blue slag glass; I've never seen glass this nice on any Hoosier. Most of its hardware is original, a few pieces have evidently been changed somewhere along the line of history. I bought it at an estate sale in 2004, in Portland, Maine. People/companies have copied pictures of my cabinet online, and you can find it listed on various sites, including as'#1 of the top 15 Hoosier cabinets' in the country (possibly world). I have enjoyed it in various kitchens and living rooms for the past 16 years; now it's time for someone else to. I currently have no idea how best to do so. Please offer your suggestions if you are interested in obtaining this piece through any means other than picking it up yourself. I would be willing to have a couple of local young men deliver it within a span of approximately 350 miles (700 mi RT) in any direction surrounding the Ellsworth/Bar Harbor, Maine area.
