We're delighted to offer for sale this spectacular 19th century tiger oak Victorian physicians / medical cabinet. We acquired this recently from a lovely Greenwich CT estate where it housed one of the most significant medical collections we've had the pleasure of seeing in quite some time.

This is a nice, old, correct and true Victorian cabinet. Above all and DO NOT sell items with major flaws or defects. This cabinet has three incised carved drawers each retaining their original embossed brass pulls and decorative escutcheons. This example is fitted with a mirrored bottom and three cut glass shelves.

The beveled glass sides (side lights) are a very nice addition to the recessed panel sides. The gallery employs a nice rounded beveled glass mirror amid acanthus leaf and a central shell carving. The gallery sides are scrolled and triple incised carved.

When all the design elements come together it makes a truly exceptional oak medical cabinet with all the bells and whistles. We see these in a varying degree of complexity and this one is a 10/10. We chose to include our natural light photos along with our. We didn't want the beauty of the glass to be lost in translation. The cabinet is 25" wide x 16" deep x 72 tall.

We have expert woodworkers and re-finishers on staff to service any piece of furniture we offer. We represent all merchandise in absolute good faith and to the very best of our ability.

We can get you special services in certain cases, but you are responsible for telling us you require them and for the extra cost of these services, if you instruct our shippers to provide services beyond curbside deliveries. We dont like to send nice people off with things tied to roof racks. We are not a storage facility. We are happy to hold your items for a reasonable pre-agreed upon period.
