Authentic diminutive Antique French Slatted Cabinet Pine Flat panel door 41x23

  

41-3/8H x 23-1/2W x 1 thick. Offering an authentic antique French slatted cabinet door in pine.

This was imported from France by a dealer, was likely salvaged from a French country farmhouse, and may have been used as a pantry cabinet door, as was typical of this slatted style. Based on construction details, it is likely that this was made in the 19th century.

It features a recessed flat panel, with an ogee molding detail around the panel and slats. It has the original door escutcheon. This door was handmade with pegged mortise and tenon construction.

It is in great condition as the photos will show.
