Dating to the turn of the 20th century, this medical or dental cabinet has a steel case with a heavily patinated interior silvered mirror (an usual feature for this form), cast iron cabriolet legs, nickel hinges and knob, detailed steel corner gussets, and three interior adjustable glass shelves, with a 4th midway up the legs. The rust and other imperfections have been sanded smooth and stabilized with clear coat. It's elegant form and details juxtaposed with the rugged, worn, industrial surface creates quite the statement.
