Luxury Vintage Italian Louis XV Rococo Ornate Cream Gold Pink Curio Display Cabinet. The "S" and "C" curves found in the pediment and the arched glass are hallmarks of the Rococo era, of which Louis XV is the primary style. Cabriole Legs: The slender, outward-curving legs are a definitive feature of this period, designed to give the heavy furniture a sense of lightness. Italian Finish: The cream and gold-leaf finish (polychrome) is particularly characteristic of Italian Barocchetto (Italian Rococo). While French pieces often used natural wood veneers, Italian artisans frequently favored these lighter, painted finishes to create a "feminine" and airy aesthetic.

Ornate Ornamentation: The hand-carved floral motifs and shell patterns (rocaille) at the top and base are classic decorative elements of the 18th-century style.
