Vtg Mystery Cabinet with3 Brass Military Medallions & 3 Round Cut Spaces Inside

  
This vintage cabinet is a unique piece of furniture that will add character to any room. The exterior is stained brown and features three brass military medallions. The interior has three round cut spaces, each measuring 13" wide and 12.5" tall. The wood panel doors open to reveal an interior space that is 15" long, 5" wide, and 4.5 deep. The cabinet is made of wood and has a military style, but the exact type is unknown.

This item is perfect for collectors of antique furniture. Maybe someone can help, please. Cabinet is made from lower quality wood, stained with clear protective coat applied.

Clear coat is partially faded. Two brass medallions- around 3 inches diameter attached to the both front doors. Please check my pictures for a better description. One rectangle brass medallion attached to the top of the cabinet.

Looks French with engraved dates 1939 -1945 (the World War ll) and warrior face wearing the helmet. The top brass medallion measures 6 inches wide and 2 inches high.

Three cut openings - around 3 diameter each inside. I'm not sure of the purpose of the openings and the purpose of thecabinet as well... More pictures available upon request.
