An Antique French Tantalus Liquor Cabinet dating from the mid to late 1800s. This Tantalus Cabinet has been created in ebonized wood with marquetry details and brass inlay. The interior of the box features a removable wooden caddy. The lid of the Tantalus Cabinet can be folded down when in the open position to display the intricate marquetry inlay detail. The side panels also open out for easy access/ display of its contents. The Tantalus Cabinet was made with four ball feet and one is missing. Some losses to the inlay.
