This charming American ash or elm spice cabinet features eight drawers (most still labeled) and a fret cut cornice with mounting hole. The drawers have their otiginal brass turned knobs and are labeled as follows: ALLSPICE, SODA, CINNAMON, CLOVES, indistict.
The drawers are constructed with finger joints in the back and nailed lap joints in the front. They are 4" x 2 1/2" on their fronts and are 4 1/2 deep. The cabinet could either be free standing or hanging by the hole in the fret cut back. It is in great original condition and probably dates to c.
