Antique Gothic French Wall/Key/Display/Bar Cabinet in Solid Walnut withPainting

  
This impressive wall mounted cabinet is from France and it dates to the late 1800's. It is made from solid and veneered walnut, except for the shelves and back panel which are oak. This is a beautiful cabinet finished to a warm dark color.

The painting of St Michael slaying the dragon is very well done. Note that there are cracks that run through the painting and some woodworm damage (see photos).

The cabinet is carved on all sides with gothic elements. There are three shelves and the brackets are adjustable.

The lock works and there is a key. The door open smoothly and stay shut as they should. Overall this cabinet is in very good antique condition with only minor nicks and scratches. Special note: this cabinet is constructed from a larger antique cabinet that has been repurposed by reducing the thickness and other dimensions of the original cabinet.
