Antique Hutch Cabinet Movie Prop Planet of the Apes Distressed Furniture Fantasy

  

We are just outside of Los Angeles County, California. This substantial and heavy piece is a screen-used movie prop from Planet of the Apes (2001, Mark Wahlberg). It shows up a couple times around the 30-minute mark and was probably used in other movies as well. It shows age wear and numerous marks and blemishes that fit well with the style.

This distinctive piece is aged but sturdy. It is probably as it was made. I don't see anything that looks out of date or out of the same style. Works well with any age from medieval to rural farm house.

The top measures about 48 x 18 inches and it stands about 35 inches tall. It will take at least two strong people to lift it and more would be better (must weigh a couple hundred pounds).
