Antique Oak silverware chest dated June 1st 1899

  
Stunning quartersawn oak silver chest presentation case to Margaret English Mullen June 1st, 1899. Lots of swirls in the golden oak. Measures 18 1/2" wide x 9" tall x 12 1/2 deep. There is the main compartment and a lower drawer. The lower drawer won't open unless the lid is open.

The interior must be replaced. The box is in solid condition. There is a light spattering of something perhaps paint, tiny spots. They come off with a fingernail, but I'll leave that to you. The hardware seems to be brass.

It has not been tested.
