A beautiful antique oak Hoosier cabinet, a necessity in a kitchen during the 1920's that provided an area for food preparation. This particular cabinet has a flour dispenser that tilts out. As can seen in the pictures, it has menus and food lists on each of the inside longer top doors, that are in excellent condition and shallow metal holders on the inside of others. There is some damage to the inside of the bottom drawer that looks to have originally a sliding metal cover, perhaps as a bread box. But, it accommodates a decorative basket.

One of the top thin drawers, under the enameled top gets stuck at times. The large bottom cabinet has 3 tracks on which wooden shelves slide onto, not seen in the picture, but I do have them. All of the hardware, including the glass knobs, are original. The exterior is in very good condition. The top doors have beige and brown stained glass that is in excellent condition.

The center alcove is in excellent shape. It also has a roll down front as can be partially seen in the photo. The only part that is not original is the back wood that covers the entire cabinet. But it has been replaced and painted to the original cover.

I have repainted all of the interior of the drawers and cabinets to the original color also. Dimensions: 48" W x 69.5" H x 29.5 Deep. However, the enameled top pulls out for a depth of 34and there are only a few scratches on it. I have pulled it out to use as a bar or buffet many times.

I have also decorated this cabinet for the holidays and it looks beautiful.
