A rare gem of a bar unlike any other we have come across. Manufactured by the Allied Refrigeration Company of Pittsburgh, 100% high grade polished stainless steel with Mahogany trim and cabinet doors. Stainless steel was a very expensive material to use in that era.
The fabrication of the bar reveals a level of craftmanship that no longer exists in manufacturing. The bar was installed in the Bellevue Hotel in 1938 in Coraopolis Pennsylvania after the original bar was destroyed in a flood.
The original Bar/Cafe was called Riddle's, considered one of the finest watering holes in Pittsburg. It lasted until 1952 The hotel closed down in 1984 and the bar sat in darkness until 2018.
This bar would be a fantastic functional centerpiece for any restaurant, brewery, distillery, coffee house or home. It screams of class and beauty in a very loud way.
