Jessen & Rosberg Dental Cabinet. Jessen & Rosberg of Chicago oak dental cabinet. Solid oak wood in dark stain. Cabinet features step back top with closed storage.

Two roll top cabinets flanking center mirrored door over drawer. Mirrored door can be locked. Roll top cabinets feature single fixed glass shelf (originally used for medicine containers).

Center cabinet interior features single wood fixed shelf (originally used for microscope storage). Mirrored back board below roll top cabinets. Center of cabinet features roll top covered storage drawers flanked by two columns. Above wood trim above roll top is the label reading Jessen & Rosberg Chicago.

Roll top cover automatically locks when rolled down (key is included). Three columns of drawers, for a total of 20, of varying heights and interiors. Some drawers have interior holders for instruments, some are lined with black fabric, and some are open with no lining. Bottom of cabinet features two drawers over single door cabinet flanking single drawer over bin. Two drawers over left cabinet feature black lining. Each door is hinged on exterior side. Bin compartment sits in cabinet and pulls down. Drawer has no interior attachments and rotates on wood cut out. Original brass knobs and escutcheons. Cabinet is raised on caster wheels. Antique piece in original condition. 1856 and Hans Jessen began their cabinet career in Chicago. Their cabinets were popular among dentists and watchmakers. The partnership lasted until 1902 upon Jessen's death. 39.75"W x 18"D x 65.5H. Antique piece that has not been restored. Additional pictures can be provided (we are limited to only 12 on listing).
